Lebanon Valley College congratulates 700 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

More than 1,740 students have been named to the Fall 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Thirteen Wilkes University students were inducted as full members into the Theta Delta Chapter of the Beta Beta Beta national biological honor society during an induction ceremony held during the fall 2018 semester. Full members are juniors or seniors who have completed at least 16 credits in biology with at least a 3.25 grade point average and a 3.0 overall GPA. Beta Beta Beta was founded in 1922 at Oklahoma City University by Dr. Frank G. Brooks and his students. The idea of an honor society and professional society for biology students spread and by 1925 the society became a national organization. The Theta Delta Chapter was installed at Wilkes in 2001.

More than 170 Kutztown University students have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as part of the December 2018 class. To be inducted at KU, students must attend an orientation, a three-hour leadership training seminar, three success networking team meetings and three speaker broadcasts featuring leading figures delivering success-related messages to members.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the accomplishments of dozens of students during its 2017-2018 Awards Ceremony. The Cedar Crest College Awards Ceremony is held each year on the day before Commencement.

The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies was established at Coastal Carolina University on Oct. 12, and the 700 students who had been accepted into the University's honors program are now the first students housed in the new college. The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies will feature many new initiatives and a revised curriculum. It will support students who have ties to majors and departments across campus: from honors students to interdisciplinary studies students, who build their own, innovative academic majors. In addition, the college will continue to support and advise undeclared first-year students as they select and transition into their major.

Delphi is the college's honor society for undergraduate students. Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 at the end of their junior year or their senior year are recognized as members.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the Class of 2018 at its 148th annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 12.

The Dean's List recognizes students who have earned a grade point average of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

Lebanon Valley College's Pride of The Valley Marching Band will feature 140 students this year. The marching band performs at all home football games as well as appearances at various exhibitions throughout the fall semester.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites.

Wilkes University welcomes 91 students into the honors programs newest class.

Northampton Community College is excited to welcome new and returning students to campus for the Fall 2018 semester.

During summer 2018, more than 150 undergraduate students at Wilkes University were engaged in research. Working with faculty on meaningful research is one of the hallmarks of a Wilkes education. Students at Wilkes have all of the educational opportunities of a large university in the mentoring culture of a small college.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,225 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80.
